CHAPTER 06

THREE KINDS OF LEADERSHIP¡¦S ROLE

I-    Autocratic Leader:

The autocratic leader is the leader who imposes his decision on a group. Commands are tightly specified with little or no allowance for discussion or individual choice. Rewards are unpredictable, while the leader¡¦s identity and underlying plans remain obscure.

II-   Democratic Leader:

The democratic leader is the leader who encourages the group to participate in discussion. The leader mixes informally with the group and is usually well known at a personnel level. Methods of work are left to individual choice, while rewards are open and fair in their distributions.

III-  Laissez - Faire Leader:

The laissez-faire leader is the leader who largely leaves the group to make its own decision. Apart from setting some general objectives, the leader makes few demands. Communications follow no formal pattern, while rewards are highly unpredictable.

Inclusion:

The leaders must set the new organizational aims as the scope of the business widens through the diversification.

Although people are individuals, they do not work in isolation. Each person has a network of responsibilities to other people and these networks form an organizational structure.

The duty of a leader is to search for, analyze, select, avail, adjust and create. In order to get more information concerning technology, marketing and investment policy¡K etc, we should collect the different information from friends, relatives, newspapers and government¡K etc.

We analyze the advantage and disadvantage of information to the enterprise. We, under the prudent consideration, carefully select some of the information which are available to the enterprise and adopt them in the management.

To improve the quality and increase quantities of product, we should review over the management, working rate and the product, trying to search for the new market and create the new products to comply with the market demand.
